This Chrysler Plymouth Voyager is for sale. The bodywork is in very good condition apart from the trim is missing off the left-hand side of the vehicle. It has only 51,000 miles on the clock. However, there are some problems with it. Firstly, the ABS braking system needs looking at. The car has just had an expensive recall but there are still problems with certain components that were replaced. Secondly, the Chrysler dealership in Exeter Devon fitted a reconditioned transmission at the end of 2003. From day one, it has never been right and will need extensive repairs. The suspension is also playing up. There are two airbags that are lower and raise the suspension to make entry easier. The compressor that pumps the suspension is playing up and will also need attention as it is intermittent at the moment and doesn't always pump the suspension up properly.

in 1994 the vehicle was fitted with specialised steering controls so that a quadriplegic can drive the vehicle. Joystick steering starts at £12,000 and the breaking/acceleration that is fitted in the car starts off at £10,000. The nine way bleeper system that controls all the secondary controls such as, horn, indicators, windscreen wipers etc costs around £900.

As you will see by the photographs, the car is rather tatty inside. I decided not to spend any money on it in case I could not sell it. It wouldn't take a lot, it's just carpets and wires that need tidying up, and maybe a valet.

You may decide that the car is far too expensive to fix and not worthwhile. It also well might be worth purchasing for spare parts. A brand-new hydraulic assembly has just been fitted to the car and these alone cost £1050 to buy here in the United Kingdom. The engine has only done 51,000 miles so could be used too.

I am putting it on eBay soon and will be starting off at £500. I will take £1500 for it now

*Please note that you may need a transporter to remove the vehicle from my premises*
